Background

Embodiment has become a key concept in various research disciplines within the life sciences and humanities. However, the explicit conceptualization of embodiment varies strongly between disciplines. Though, a comprehensive understanding of embodiment is a pre-condition for interdisciplinary research and its development is, thus, in our focus in this line of research.
